An Interdisciplinary Conversation" held on April 26th–27th, 2018, which brought together scholars and practitioners from neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, religious studies, and psychoanalysis to explore shared and differing goals in understanding consciousness.
Mandair's work specifically focuses on the translation and theorization of Asian religious traditions, particularly Sikh and broader South Asian traditions, within colonial and post-colonial contexts, and their intersections with contemplative, meditative, and psychedelic practices in psychology and psychiatry.
